I believed every audience enjoyed this movie very much.
There were so many laughter in there.
After a blind date gone horribly wrong, Jim and Lauren agree they never, ever want to see each other again. Well, that's all about to change when the two find themselves and their respective families (including children) all stuck together in one suite at an African Safari vacation spot.
This time, they casted as single parent and reflected the reality and how hard single parent take care of their kids.
Sandler is a father with 3 daughters; Barrymore is a mother with 2 sons.
Their casting gave me some reflection in real life.
I felt it is even harder for single parent like them, need to take care of children that are not same sex.
Back to our own life,
for girls, who will buy you pads/tampon when you are in period? Dad?
for boys, who will share you their pornography magazine? Mom?
Definitely not the answer I have just stated.
Other than the shows in National Geographic / Discovery channel,
Blended is the movie that bring its audiences to the wild Safari ride.
Unlike the documentary film, Blended is a comedy;
thus, it tells more than the wild life,
it also tells what can we do in Africa!
is that you can keep so close to animals that you have to stay apart when you see them in zoo only.
But the con is you cannot expect what'll happen next.
These innocent animals may spoil your "moment" accidentally. =p
Find out why in cinema...
This movie is never the MUST WATCH type in my list;
but I eventually found that it is really worthy.
There are things/lessons audience can discover;
#1: Why does Blended call Blended? We somehow make fun of it saying it's blender.
#2: It isn't easy to be a single parent. We should respect all parents.
#3: Africa is so much fun!
Rating: 4.5/5
**Why I deduct half point from it? Blended is suitable for family to watch; it is a comedy film. But it still contain few little bad words in the kids' dialogue; I think it isn't so good to have them although it is one point of laughter.**
