Today, it is showing on cinema!
Thank you Nuffnang for the exclusive tickets of Lucy yesterday night!
It was supposed to be a simple job. All Lucy had to do was deliver a mysterious briefcase to Mr. Jang. But immediately Lucy is caught up in a nightmarish deal where she is captured and turned into a drug mule for a new and powerful synthetic drug. When the bag she is carrying inside of her stomach leaks, Lucy's body undergoes unimaginable changes that unlocks her mind's full potential 100%. With her new-found powers, Lucy turns into a merciless warrior intent on getting back at her captors. She receives invaluable help from Professor Norman, the leading authority on the human mind, and French police captain Pierre Del
Rio.
and you were offered a 'job' by the gangster.
Frightening? Helpless? Or revenge?
Scarlett Johansson well-portrayed the character of Lucy in this film.
Her acting is superb which she was successfully leading her audience to follow her emotions,
bringing them into the situation that Lucy was in.
Portrayed as timid lady in the beginning, then transformed into an extraordinary superwoman,
she is excellent showing her talent of being an actress!
it is more on sci-fi track.
It gives audiences very large space of thinking and imagining,
since we have no idea what will truly happen if human hit 100% brain capacity.
So, what Lucy portrayed, they're just hypotheses.
Yay or nay? That requires tons of research and decades to prove.
One thing I love about this movie is the documentary support,
which helps the audiences to connect with these yet-to-proved theories;
Providing audiences a path to follow the abstract happening of the movie.
however, the ending plot is disappointing.
I couldn't agree more it is odd.
I was confused when it came to an end.
No doubt that the visual effects and proposed theories on brain capacity are amazing;
yet, the end result leaves a lot of questions to the audiences.
Overall, Lucy movie requires a lot of mind-thinking.
If you are a fan of sci-fi, this is your cup of tea.
Nevertheless, if you love action and thrilling type of film,
you may find it less satisfying.
